  • Overview

    Provide thought leadership, strategy and implement a framework for monitoring service delivery objectively. Additionally, manage and capture resource demand/forecast across D&O.


    1. Provide portfolio level reporting for lines of service via the gathering and consolidation of data from project and service delivery to provide an accurate view of delivery status across time, cost and quality
    2. To produce and present monthly portfolio level report for communication and discussion at the D&O Operations Review
    3. Gather and consolidate all resource demand from sales, project and service delivery, ensuring that current and future resourcing and recruitment needs are being communicated out to the wider business, through weekly meetings with Sales and Delivery (includes generation of weekly reports to support this)
    4. Provide direction to recruitment team around actions and priorities based on above consolidated view of resource demand
    5. Act as operational process expert, providing guidance and training, thought leadership and drive for continuous improvement
    6. To work with other stakeholders within the business including Sales, HR, Finance and Delivery to ensure that the end to end resourcing process is efficient
    7. Accountable for the accurate and timely production of Delivery & Operations Delivery Schedules to provide to Finance and Sales Operations in support of the weekly forecasting process
    8. Accountable for the weekly production of a bench availability report identifying all “white space” for permanent delivery resources on a rolling 6 week forward view, including highlighting any planned utilisation associated with projects forecasted but not yet won (“at risk”)
    9. Line management responsibilities for direct reports including day to day oversight, staff development, team leadership and running appraisal process
    10. Deputising for head of service management office during periods of absence



    EXPERIENCE:    Working effectively and accurately in a pressurised environment with tight deadlines in a professional services organisation. Able to prioritise competing demands effectively. People management and staff development. Experience of commercial/contractual review and governance desirable.


    KNOWLEDGE:  MS office suite; especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint, intermediate to advanced level (essential), Sharepoint (essential) Changepoint (desirable)


    SKILLS:    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to communicate effectively and professionally with all management, staff and external parties verbally and in writing.
