Leveraging strong technical experience within Artificial Intelligence technologies, understanding the skills and associated effort required to deliver AI based technical solutions / use cases, the Principal Consultants core role is to support the creation of costed technical solutions aligned to Bell Integrations Services offerings. The Pre-Sales Principal Consultant will work with our internal sales team, partners, delivery functions and clients to drive opportunities through to closure and support Bell Integration’s ability to achieve booking and revenue targets.

The Principal Consultant is recognised as a thought leader to our customers and a mentor internally and to our partners. The Principal Consultant is responsible for delivering high quality technical proposals and statements of work on behalf of Bell to the customer, working with the Sales and Delivery teams to ensure commercial and technical governance within the sales process while meeting client objectives, goals and outcomes.

• Understanding customer requirements and translating those into an AI based use case
• Creation of Proposals, Statement of Works backed up up by effort profiles and commercials
• Able to manage client relationships and build consensus and trust in Bell Integrations capabilities
• Coach others on client agenda and customer ownership

• Support proposition development through technical and commercial content

• Identify efficiencies and anticipate/resolve potential problems within solutions, working with internal delivery and the customer
• Design, perform and oversee key areas of analysis and technical decision-making.  Guide overall technical/functional approach

Person skills

• Successful Pre-Sales delivery, including technical, resourcing and commercial specification of major projects
• Core skills and experience in Generative Artificial Intelligence (Conversation &/or AIOps) Data Centre Migration, Cloud Migration and Managed Outsource Services
• Strong design capabilities (medium to large engagements) – Understanding of Technical Design Authority as well as project governance and managed service (ITIL) methodologies
• Ownership of presales engagement
• Strong understanding of markets, opportunities and competitors, as well as business issues and challenges
• Strong written and verbal communication skills – ability to deliver effective and persuasive presentations and demo’s to Bell Integrations customers and employees

• Experienced professional services/technical consultant to deliver presales engagements
• Proven experience as a successful Pre-Sales consultant with customer relationship management, technical pre-/post-sales experience
• Experience of Amelia Conversational AI and AIOps would be advantageous
• Demonstrated technical design and implementation of infrastructure solutions
• Demonstrate Service Design and Project Governance skills and experience
• Project facilitation ensuring delivery of services set up in line with customer’s needs
• Demonstrable ability to work as a consultant to CIO/IT Director level.
• Manage workshop environments, taking ownership and leading all aspects of workshop facilitation.
• Interface with Project Managers within Bell Integrations and the client’s IT staff to ensure effective delivery of services
• Demonstrable ability to provide robust and clear feedback to customers

Technical Expertise:

• Educated to degree level, or equivalent technical experience / qualifications
• Demonstrable knowledge of Artificial Intelligence solution concepts such as conversational AI, AIOps & Generative AI
  • AI core infrastructure and supporting software components, LLM modules, ML and translation engines
  • Experience the Amelia platform advantageous
• Core platform and Operating Systems expertise and experience
  • Strong understanding of associated Core OS technologies and tools (such as DNS, Directory Services, management tools, Clustering, replication, IP/Subnets, storage, backup etc)
