We're recruiting for an experienced Business Objects Developer to join our team. The BO Developer will develop the PowerBI offering across the team. To ensure data projects are delivered in a structurally concise manner to end users, using the correct deployment methods to test/update/publish data.

To be considered you will be able to demonstrate deep data management expertise with excellent SQL design and engineering skills, Strong BI development experience, including data manipulation, analysis, and visualisation skills.

Strong experience with the latest versions of Business Objects is a must. 

Strong cloud data warehousing (AWS, GCP, Azure) and BI toolset (Tableau, Looker, Power BI) experience combined with a good understanding of relational and NoSQL database.

This role is Hybrid - 3 days a week in Canary Wharf.

The resource is expected to analyse, enhance, and optimize the existing Patch Management Reporting process. The role will involve evaluating business logic to identify gaps and areas of improvement, review and analysis of the reporting framework and implementing changes to align with the audit remediation requirements, and collaborating with relevant technology owners for integration, testing and support.

• Develop Business Objects reports and dashboard solutions for a wide variety of business intelligence projects and write functional and technical specs
• Manage the incident tickets/ JIRA tickets to fix issues with existing reports.
• Solid technical background and experience in reporting, Business Intelligence, MIS applications
• Understand and implement solution in support of physical data models necessary to support business intelligence reporting initiatives
• Design, develop, test, and support Oracle stored procedures, functions
• Define and design the universe, BI Dashboards and reports
• Develop, Support and improve existing BO systems – including both Universe and Reports
• Responsible for documenting modifications of pre-existing development new development for peer reference and knowledge transfer
• Strong emphasis on delivering an excellent customer experience, while working under pressure with urgency, with an ability to communicate professionally to all levels of the business.
• Communicate directly with team members to confirm requirements and clarify business rules
• You will have experience in the financial services industry.

• Strong task and resource planning in a volatile matrix management environment.
• You will be disciplined in your prioritisation, time management and scheduling abilities - multi-tasking skills are essential.
