Overview

Responsible for: Driving process and system efficiencies internal to Bell by articulating business need and ensuring IT solutions deliver value to our business. There will be a large focus on HR systems & processes initially but this role will also work across our application, end user and the infrastructure landscape

 

Scope: The Project Manager responsible for leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects. The role requires a high degree of initiative, collaboration, and communication with various stakeholders to ensure the project is completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager will coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors, manage project risks, and deliver updates on project status to senior management.

 

Purpose: The focus of this role is to work with key business stakeholders within IT, HR and across the business to deliver business change projects internally to Bell. This role will initially be focused on the processes within Hire to Retire, delivering requirements against SAP SuccessFactors features (Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Learning, Compensation, Succession & Development and People Analytics), integrations and reporting.

 

Based at: Remote with travel to Portsmouth and London as required

Responsibilities

  1. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
  2. Coordinate and manage third-party vendors to ensure they deliver to agreed plan
  3. Lead and manage the project team, ensuring clarity of objectives and delivering results
  4. Timely communication to ensure buy-in and lined up resource to ensure effective delivery
  5. Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure project success
  6. Establish and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, changes, and issues
  7. Cost and benefit tracking
  8. Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  9. Monitor and manage project risks and issues, escalating when necessary
  10. Development of a target Operating Model post project delivery.
  11. Ensure proper project documentation and handover to operational teams if applicable

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Proven experience of end to end Project Management for large-scale projects and programmes
  • End to end software development lifecycle experience with at least 2 projects involving the rollout or significant enhancement of SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Learning, Compensation, Succession & Development and People Analytics)
  • Proven track record of managing projects replacing business applications, internally for organisations, where continuity of service is critical
  • Ability to analyse complex project data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a diverse project team towards achieving common goals.
  • Comfortable with change and capable of adapting to new project demands and environments
  • Understanding of the PMO team and use of PPM tools
  • Knowledge and understanding of PRINCE2
  • Communications and stakeholder management
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).

Desirable:

  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred
  • Past HR professional
  • Worked on Implementation / enhancement projects for other HR applications
  • Experience in Implementation of Hire to Retire Value stream
