Overview

A strategic and process-driven Microsoft Program Manager to take ownership of our engagement with the Microsoft ecosystem. Sitting within the Vendor Alliances team, will be responsible for optimising our participation in the Microsoft Partner Program, managing performance incentives, improving internal readiness and process governance, and aligning our joint go-to-market (GTM) efforts to support revenue and solution growth. Will act as the internal subject matter expert for all things Microsoft, ensuring we are maximising the commercial, technical, and strategic benefits of the partnership.

Responsibilities

Microsoft Management:

  • Serve as the primary internal authority on the Microsoft Partner Program, staying current on program changes, incentive models, certification pathways, and strategic opportunities.
  • Maintain and grow key relationships with Microsoft Partner Managers our indirect partner provider and relevant stakeholders in the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Coordinate joint business planning, scorecarding, and reviews.

Process & Governance:

  • Identify and close process gaps relating to Microsoft alliance operations, including deal registration, solution area mapping, and co-sell tracking.
  • Build and maintain internal documentation, processes, and enablement tools to standardise Microsoft-related activities across practices.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Pre-Sales, CTO and Finance to ensure alignment and reporting accuracy.

Performance & Incentives:

  • Own the submission and tracking of Microsoft incentives, rebates, and funding programs (e.g.Azure MDP, ECIF, Co-op).
  • Monitor and manage performance against Microsoft competency and partner tiering metrics.
  • Analyse data from Microsoft Partner Center, co-sell platforms, and internal CPQ to produce actionable insights.

Enablement & GTM Support:

  • Develop internal enablement materials and readiness programs to improve knowledge of Microsoft solutions and partnership requirements.
  • Support execution of joint GTM campaigns, solution showcases, and customer success stories.

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience managing a Microsoft partnership within an IT, Cloud, or Services-led organisation.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Partner Center, Microsoft Cloud Partner Program (MCPP), incentives, and co-sell processes.
  • Track record of improving or implementing processes across partner operations or alliance teams.
  • Commercially and strategically minded with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or Dynamics).
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams while influencing without authority.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certifications or Microsoft Partner Center admin experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Solution Plays, Microsoft Azure GTM strategy, or CSP/ISV business models.
  • Experience working within a vendor or partner program team at a Gold/Solutions partner level or higher.
