Overview

Responsible for:

Monitoring, reporting, analysis and providing guidance on best practice for the company's internal security systems, solutions and programs. 

 

Based at:

Remote with travel to Portsmouth and London as required

Scope:

Acting as a key player in enabling Bell Integration to deliver its Security Strategy and maintaining our Information Security Management System in alignment with ISO 27001, in this role you will be responsible for day to day activities supporting Bell Integrations’ Cybersecurity posture.  

Please note that as a prerequisite of this role an applicant must have, or be able to obtain, a Security Clearance.  

 

Purpose:   

We are a technology services provider; this role has responsibility for monitoring, reporting, analysis and providing guidance on best practice for the company's internal security systems, solutions and programs. 

 

Acting as a key player in enabling us to deliver its Security Strategy and maintaining our Information Security Management System in alignment with ISO 27001, in this role you will be responsible for day to day activities supporting Bell Integrations’ Cybersecurity posture.  

Responsibilities

  1. Conducting security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis; 
  2. Responding to security incidents as directed by the IT Security Manager; 
  3. Analysing security breaches to identify the root cause; including investigation, response, and reporting 
  4. Supporting security compliance monitoring and security policy assessments / audits; 
  5. Reporting and continuously monitoring a set of KPIs that depict the state of security and drive change to improve security where opportunities have been identified 
  6. Contributing to the design and coordination of the delivery of security improvements, working in cross functional teams 
  7. Verifying the security of third-party vendors and collaborating with them to manage information security requirements and risks. 
  8. Supporting the further development and management of our security threat monitoring capabilities, working closely with our Internal IT team and Software Engineers. 

Qualifications

Essential:

  • 5 years IT experience 
  • 3+ years' experience in security  
  • Experience in IT Infrastructure and End User computing technologies and/or a university degree in a relevant discipline 
  • Working knowledge of security standards including NIST, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft security suite of products and other industry equivalents including Endpoint manager, Defender, Microsoft Intune and Sentinel. 
  • The successful applicant must have, or be able to obtain, a Security Clearance.

Desirable:

  • Working knowledge of GDPR is desirable
