Overview

The Senior People Development Partner will drive strategic learning and development solutions across Bell by partnering with business leaders and People Partners, identifying skills gaps, designing impactful solutions, and ensuring efficient, consistent and innovative learning delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership & Skills Analysis: Collaborate with People Partners to identify skills gaps and training needs (LNAs). Facilitate Personal Development Plans (PDPs) and align learning priorities with business objectives. Build high-trust relationships to influence and embed learning culture. Influence the business and create demand for learning solutions by demonstrating ROI and impact.
  • Learning Design & Delivery: Design and deliver strategic learning programs for technical, leadership, and human skills. Deliver Train-the-Trainer programs and set standards for “what good looks like” in learning delivery. Drive global engagement in training initiatives, ensuring cultural relevance and inclusivity. Support the Head of People Development with industry insights and strategic execution. Introduce accreditations to enhance credibility and capability. Deliver organisational-wide solutions in partnership with People Development and the wider People & Values teams.
  • Platform & Process Management: Maintain and enhance Bell’s learning platforms and technologies. Ensure efficient training processes, governance, and compliance. Oversee group training bookings, ad-hoc reporting, and resource updates in Bell Academy
  • Supplier Management: Assess and evaluate training suppliers; manage relationships and support delivery ensuring efficient, consistent, cost-effective and modern learning delivery.
  • Team Support, Coaching and Role Modelling: Coach and mentor other People Development team members, providing peer reviews and feedback. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in learning while living our values. Provide upskilling and coaching to the wider People and Values team to support confidence and competence in learning-related partner conversations.

Qualifications

Looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong background in Learning and Development across multiple disciplines.
  • Is an excellent communicator who excels in both verbal and written communication, capable of effectively conveying ideas and engaging stakeholders.
  • Has proven ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders, handle conflicts of interest, and ensure engagement.
  • Is experienced in managing complex programs, including planning, design, execution, and delivery to tight deadlines and high quality.
  • Has the ability to engage a nuanced, international, and remote workforce, guiding them through the change curve for all-employee adoption.
  • Has a deep appreciation and understanding of the technology used to embed solutions
